Where can you sell pictures?

If the picture was born as a 3.1 meg then you can use a program like Adobe PhotoShop to have it fill in pixels in between the existing ones to make it look like 3.0 meg. it will obviously not have all that detail but it will fool the eye.
As the first step toward selling you could try putting together a portfolio of your best and then see if they fall into categories that might suggest markets. Are they glamor shots, baby photos, animal shots, news shots? Then look on-line for agencies that specialize in that genre and see what they ask for. A lot of agencies are looking for stock photos and you might have something of interest.
You could also get some visibility by entering contests sponsored by Nikon or national Geographic or even local newspapers using shots from that portfolio.

There is NO way to change the maga pix as this is part of the cameraa and not the image. You can increase the file size in Photoshop by going to to the Image menu, scroll down to Image Size and take it from there. Do it in 5% stages to stop the image breaking down.

You canot increade the number of pixels in a picture, you can try and change the output resolution using Photoshop, but everytime you increase the image res you will loose quality. I would not recomend it.

you cannot increase the megapixel size as much as i know. if you could the new digital cameras would not be more expensive.
i would try internet to sell pictures. e-bay maybe?

Sell them at your local walmart outside by the shopping carts and seagulls.
