We will be staying two nights in Toronto, and one night in Niagra Falls. My husband and I like to try new things and enjoy all sorts of cuisine, including asian and middle eastern. I don't want to spend a lot, but an average of 50 dollars wouldn't be bad.

Samovar Barmalay Russian Restaurant
From Russia with love

505 Mount Pleasant Road
Toronto, ON
M4S 2L9

This place is quite small but it's a riot. It's midtown Toronto.
We always take our relatives here when they come to town.
It's specialty is Russian food and moderately priced.

There's a good review here:

as well as some other restaurants.

P.S. If you are looking for a good dining experience, avoid Niagara Falls and go to Niagara on the Lake, a town just north of Niagara Falls.

In toronto - try Springrolls (http://www.springrolls.ca/) they have 5 locations in Toronto. The cuisine is a mix of Asian dishes ranging from Thai to Vietnamese to Chinese. It's my FAVORITE!

Niagra Falls ... I was there 2 months ago on my honeymoon - we had a meal at the Rain Forest Cafe. It was good but pretty generic type food. Niagra falls is really expensive ($20 for chicken fingers at TGIFridays). Most hotels include a meal with your stay however. Try looking at www.tripadvisor.com for restaruant reviews in Niagra Falls.

Have a great trip!

Way too many great restaurants in Toronto to mention - try narrowing down to a specific style of cuisine. The best restaurant in Niagra Falls by far is the rotating restaurant overlooking the falls. One of the best meals I ever had, also one of the most expensive, especially if you start cracking open the wine.....

There are a few good places to see such as Royal ontario museum or ROM, Castle Loma, Cn Tower, shopping at the Toronto eaton center. We have an island and you can take a boat ride across to Center Island. You could also visit ontario place which has a imax theatre. Toronto is multi-cultural so you could go to different parts of Toronto to experience great food.

The Miller Tavern (formerly The Jolly Miller) is an excellent restaurant. It isn't in the downtown part of the city, it's at Yonge and York Mills and there is a subway stop close to the front door.

Best place in Toronto for Greek Food is Christina's on Danforth in the Greek District. You can get there by subway and only have to walk 3 blocks. It is awesome. Hope you go.

In Niagara Falls, there are alot of nice restaurants to try, namely:

- The Keg

- Kelsey's

- Café Tu Tu Tango (my ABSOLUTE favourite restaurant of all time!) (Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, Cafe Tu Tu Tango has a bohemian look and feel.)

- Carpaccio (Really lovely Italian restaurant)

- Mick & Angelo's Eatery & Bar (casual, fun)

Hope this helps!!!

If you want to just browse around for restaurants, keep on Lundy's Lane and Clifton Hill. There are literally dozens of restaurants to choose from.

Have a great trip. :)
