hey there! I am! I cant believe there is actually another here! I was there when I was little!
Do you remember the Date Pit? I was in Abquaiq too! It was THE hang out place for us little kids, you were not ''in'' if you werent at the Pit.!!

I only visited as I was in college when my Mom was over there. I went in 1978 and 1979 for the month of December both times. 1979 was amazing cuz the Iranians were holding the Americans hostage. Security at Dhahran airport was tight. We deplaned and had to walk between two lines of guards holding some kind of automatic weapons! Mom lived in Abqaiq. Interesting culture.
