A Mother might treat other children with care--but she "provides" and "protects" her children first and foremost. This is a good thing.
A country needs to do the same--provide and protect it's children first-than reach out. Not before.
It would be abuse if you fed your neighbors poor child and let your own starve. And we have many starving children of our own.
Even in the animal world-the good parents follow that rule.

Sure. In the countries they're from. LEGAL immigration ONLY, support the US Border Patrol! We have to say 'no mas' to illegal immigration. Laws don't mean a whole lot without enforcement.
We don't have to, nor should we, tolerate intentional negligence on dealing with illegal immigration. Given that an apparent majority of people that are both US citizens AND voters are against it, maybe it's time for more city councils, states, and the whole country for that matter, to take up pen and paper and puzzle out all the angles and ramifications on this issue, and decide how best to handle it.
It's not America's job in the world to compensate for national dysfunction in other countries, and that's about what tolerating illegal immigration amounts to. It's literally time for about 15 other countries out there to collectively act in meaningful and effective fashion to pull up their socks, and start taking care of business to then take care of their own citizens.
We have borders, we have the right to get them protected against people that have basically decided they're entitled to move in 'at will'. Just because other countries have colossally screwed up in dealing with their demographic challenges doesn't automatically make it America's job to take care of them.
Literacy's pretty widespread, these days. Matter of fact, we live in something called 'the information age'. That's where you can like, learn how to build stuff, how to farm, how to do stuff like that, INcluding how to 'game' other countries overly generous immigration policies.
There's 6.5 billion people in the world, and we keep hearing how 'hard working' these illegal aliens are supposed to be etc.
But, that's a questionable statement, given the complete and total lack of progress in the countries they hail from.
I support immigration enforcement, and a no-nonsense approach to dealing with illegal immigration. Don't fall for the hyperbole,
support the US Border Patrol!

No, they chose to willingly become criminals the moment they illegally entered the USA. Why should criminals who have no respect for us or our laws be entitled to the rights and freedoms we and our ancestors fought to establish and maintain.
They should be treated as criminals, and in many cases, terrorists.... NO RIGHTS at all, except the right to turn around and go back to their own countries.
Then they can apply to return via the legal route... which will afford them something other than criminal status.

No they should not be.What rights do you as an America citizen have in any country other than your own.Do you have rights in Mexico? In Latin America? In South America? No you do not.So by the same token ,I again say no to your question.Even in the UK you are bound by different laws than are the citizens of those country's.

no they shouldnt...
in order to get the same rights to jobs & other benefits they should become citizen.
Citizens are tired of paying for illegals freebies they are getting.
Pretty soon, it will be like;
Why bother, we citizens should follow the illegals example, and stop paying taxes (btw, they dont pay their fair share, thats per IRS) and also stop paying for other things.

All people are supposed to have basic human rights, and the United States used to be a champion of that. If you mean should they have access to welfare, etc, well, they have not paid into the system, so they aren't qualified. But if you mean you should be allowed to abuse them, then no. That would bring Americans down to the level of Iran or North Korea.

They should be treated kindly and carefully, not abused in any way. However, they still broke the law and need to be returned to their own country. I am all for LEGAL immigration but do not in any way support illegal immigrqation.

Of course not!
Under the law, they shouldn't be here, at all. We should. That makes for very different application of law.

They're not citizens or residents, so the government or people have no obligation to protect them in any way (that's not opinion, that's FACT). And no, they don't deserve it either. They don't deserve jobs in America, they don't deserve education in America, they don't deserve social services in America, and they don't deserve to live in America.
