what are good tires that will give out more of an offroad look without having to do any type of lift.

i have a 94 cherokee. i put on khumo venture mt tires. these tires are great. they give you plenty of grip, are studdable, have good shoulders, and as far as i can see, get great reviews. they fit your stock cherokee fine (28-29 inch) no rubbing, and not a big difference in milage. they are well-priced too, check them out

BFG's are good but i wouldn't go with the Mud Terrains, you will want the All Terrains or BFG AT's you can fit 30"x10.50x15's without rubbing, but if your gonna offroad just put a Budget boost lift on and you can fit 31"s on without any problems. Rockyroadoutfitters.com make a cheap and easy to install Budget boost. If your gonna offroad you really do need all the ground clearance you can get so with the BB and 31's you can raise up the XJ 4-5" from stock, good luck.

i dont know i think you may ( depending on the size of your tires have to get a lil lift just so ur not like riding on the top of your tires
i'd talk to a jeep dealer about it just for a professional opinion

Some B/F Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A would look good.
You can go as big as the wheel wells will allow but remember your speedometer reading will be off.

GO TO JP MAGAZINE TECH SECTION ON THE WEB. CHECK THE "WHAT FITS" SECTION. IT TELLS ALL.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET A 2" BUDGET LIFT WITH BUMP STOP EXTENSIONS ($100) AND PUT ON 31X10R15 PROCOMP EXTERA'S.
WITH NO LIFT, DO VERY LITTLE. YOU CAN'T PUT MUCH OF A TIRE ON ANYWAY.
