I have a CHI and for years it was said to be the BEST. I recently read about GHD here on Y! Answers.
How does a GHD compare with a CHI? Are they basically the same thing but different brands?

I am Puerto Rican so my hair is sooooooo hard to get straight. Blow drying it straight only makes it very frizzy! I have tryed both and CHI is the best there is, you use it so you know its great = ). The CHI straightener makes my hair bone straight!! NO kinks no nothing! I can make my hair stay straight for almost a week using it. I don't wash my hair everyday anyways. So to answer your question stick with CHI!! Take care...

Actually, I'd say neither is that great. Go to www.folica.com and check out the Sedu. After hearing about it on that site, I bought one and looooove it! Even if you don't like the Sedu, there's helpful reviews on folica.com that can help you choose between the GDH and the Chi.
