Unless you are handling some chemical compound that is harmful to humans, or are suffering from some type of medical condition like poor liver or kidney function, there aren't any toxins in your body that it can't eliminate on its own. All those detox things like to use words like 'toxins' or 'poisons' because no one would buy them if they just said "This stuff won't do anything for you but give you diarrhea", which is the only thing most of them do.

I think toxins refers to anything that shouldn't be in the body. Today's foods contain chemicals, hormones, and antibiotics that shouldn't be consumed everyday.
The Master Cleanse is designed to eliminate all of the things that you may have unknowingly consumed. The Cleanse helps your liver and kidneys recover from work of removing toxins. The Master Cleanse requires a minimum 10 day commitment which many people are not able to endure. It's really difficult for the first 3-4 days. If you can make it to 10 you can really see and feel the difference.
The Master Cleanse is great, because it is not a pill that somebody is trying to sell.

Yes, toxin is a buzz word, but the fact that it is a misnomer doesn't necessarily mean anything people say about it isn't true. A toxin is a poisonous substance produced by living cells or organisms, like snake venom or enzymes transmitted through bee stings. Practitioners of alternative medicine often apply the term in a non-specific manner to refer to a broad category of harmful substances claimed to cause ill health. When used non-technically, the term "toxin" is often applied to any toxic substances, although toxic substances not of biological origin are more properly termed poisons.
Certainly we all ingest toxic substance, which the body purges through the organs (liver, sweating through skin, etc.), by passing them through our systems without absorbing them. Obviously some toxins can't be passed this way and will back up in your system, think about mercury, lead or other metal poisonings which happen over months and years.
For info on this lemonade diet, I would see the website below. Never tried it, but it sounds interesting. Let us know if it works.

There are toxins and other chemicals in your body that result form the normal metabolic processes. Carbon dioxide and lactic acid are just a few of these "toxins."
The human body does a great job at regulating it's self. You should just focus on eating a healthy, well balanced diet with plenty of fruit, veggie’s, whole grains, and lean meat/poultry. Stay away from refined food - most of the time, if it is man-made, it is not good for you.
For the most part, the "body cleansing" diets and pills are just gimmicks. There may be some truth to some of the claims, but usually the effects are so insignificant that it will have no effect on your body.

Yes, there are toxins in your body. It is every chemical in all of the food that you eat. It is all of the diseases that your body is fighting off but you don't even know you have inside of you. It is all of the toxins that are coming out of your intestines from your fecal matter that is just sitting there. That is where "cleansings" or "detoxifications" come in. Basically all they are doing is having you eat and drink all nature items. Fruits and vegetables that are organic and lots of water to clean out your bowels and to give your liver and kidneys a break from having to deal with all of the chemicals in processed foods. All of those things do build up in your body and can cause it to not function at its greatest efficiency, leaving you feeling tired or just not yourself for absolutely no reason at all.

be very careful when using detox that is not given to you by your doctor. And look out for constipation if your detox has a herb called senna in it, because this creates bulk to gather all toxins out of the body at once and it will cause major, i mean major constipation that will probably result in you taking a laxative or suppository. this doesnt tell you this on the bottle or box. i know this from very recent experience, and if you have any type of heart problems you definetly should consult you doctor first. detox is not for everyone! be very careful, also you need to drink lots of water while doing this, this may be part of your fatigue as well.

The body has the liver, kidneys, and intestinal tract to eliminate waste from the body. Waste and by-products of cellular growth and death is definitely toxic but the human body has evolved to deal with it.
Did you know oxygen and H20 are toxic to the human body? Of course the quantity matters, but we're still alive though. :)

Your liver and kidneys filter all you need.
Everything else you hear is just someone trying to sell you something.
