I got my eyebrow pierced on Sept 2nd of this year, it was doing real well. Recently I noticed a lump on the right side of the lower whole, kind of looks like a pimple. The isn't much crust around the lower whole and there is no crust around the top. When I clean my piercing and remove to crust and go to turn the jewelry a little bit of clearish liquid with a hint of yellow come out when I push on the lump. It isn't read that much and it only hurts a tiny bit. Is this a sign of infection? If so, what can I do to avoid going to the Dr.?

Keep cleaning it with liquid gold dial and start soaking it 3-4 times a day with sea salt soaks (warm water, SEA salt, mix until it tastes like tears. Then soak a cotton ball or paper towel in it and hold it on the spot for 10-15 minutes). DO NOT USE Bactine, neosporin, peroxide, alcohol, table salt or Epsom salt. These products DO NOT help infections, rather just dry out and irritate you piercing and skin.

Do not pick at this 'pimple', it could be an abscess(which clears up easily), it could be scar tissue(which will not clear up easily). Picking at it will open it and can increase infection or do harm to the piercing and the pimple will just get worse. DO NOT remove the jewelry, however if the jewelry is not surgical stainless steel I advise you to have a piercer change it to jewelry that is surgical grade stainless steel.

Keep it clean, don't lay on that side of your head. If the puss turns brighter or more yellow, green or brown, you will have to go to a doctor to get and antibiotic. Since you probably caught it early, you should be able to clear this up a bit on your own. I have a strong feeling better and regular cleaning and sea salt soaks will clear this up within a few weeks, but if things get worse, always see a piercer before a doctor.

Keep it clean. Don't over clean it though. That alone causes infection. Yellow & green mucus is a sign of infections. You don't need a doc unless it gets bad or really starts to hurt. Peroxide. Anti-bacterial soap & water.

That is infection...if you see another color other than clear or red coming out of your bdy, it is infection. Try peroxide 3% on it, becareful around your eyes, & it has a tendency to bleach hair, so use a Q-tip or something small.

Thats an infection. Its not normal for your eyebrow to excrete yellow stuff.

Take an antibiotic like Penicilin. Make sure you're not allergic though.
