Register with Fastweb.com it has just about every scholarship and essay contest out there, and it provides you with contests that you are qualified for. Also check with your school or local scholarship providers, they will typically have some local essay contests.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) has an annual essay contest that's pretty easy (I won $500!) Check out your local VFW and good luck!
