You lose weight by burning more calories than you consume.
Eat less, excercise more. All within reasonable limits.

You mean "weight" right? Well, liposuction of course! Or, start smoking and washing down diet pills with Red Bull... OK, that will work, but it will put you in an early grave. Try this instead:
-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water (always order water and skip dessert).
-If possible, eat 5-6 smaller meals instead of 3 larger ones (this is difficult, but will raise your metabolism).
-Do 20+ minutes of cardio before breakfast most mornings (anything that will raise your heart rate will do).
-Work out with weights 3 times a week (if you can't afford a gym membership, just buy some dumbbells).
-Get 6-8 hours of sleep every night (preferably 8).
-Start drinking green tea and taking a multi-vitamin every day (recent scientific research suggests that green tea has potent fat-burning properties).
-Be consistent! Most people don't have the time or self-control to really get in shape and lose weight. Good luck.

If you want to lose weight quickly then weight training is the way to go.At first you may start with smaller weights and gradually start using a bit heavier.
If you want to lose weight then I think you really need to look after your diet and switch to a low calorie diet with fruits and vegetables. When I say low calorie-diet, it doesn't mean that you should stop eating or starve yourself. It means that you eat the right kind of food and cut out the oily stuff.
Running is a very effective way to lose weight, if you have the stamina to run for long periods. This is because when you run, the fat is burned from all areas of your body at the same time. You may start with small runs.
When you are looking to lose weight, patience is the first thing that you need. If you don't have that then it becomes very difficult.

You loose "wait" by being too impatient. You get tired of waiting and step out of line you loose you place and have to start all over again.

Starving yourself, does not work
You gotta do this in a healthy way, oterwise you can really screw up your body. For breakfast, try some fruit....things like that, simple healthy food, rememebr the food pyramid? Take vitamins for those gaps in the healthy foods you dont like to eat and AVOID snacking of you can. Fast foods are ok PERIODICALLY. I know all of this because i like to look good. I was a size 6 and now i am a 1. With diet and exersise and the right attituse i did oit. Good luck. :D

My friend told me about a patented bar that she eats right before she exercises. It helps her burnt he fat more efficiently. She has lost probably 20 pounds since she started the diet she is on & eating the bar. I can't remember what the name of the bar was & she is at work, but I know where she got the information for it.

Walking, drinking plenty of water and staying away from caffeine. I have a friend that does this and he has lost a great deal of wait.

(how do you lose weight?) if you don't have energy, buy energy pills & eat a good breakfast in the morning time(at a truck stop-they have the best ones). drink lots of water & juices. cut out lots of sweets & other bad food & drinks. (soda, tea, coffee, milk is also fattening) instead of eating sweets, eat fruits when you are snacking. boil/steam your food for dinner. cut out lots of cheese & greasy food. walking helps, but if you can jog/run, that's even better. when you are watching tv, do situps, jog in place, jumping jacks, etc. EAT HEALTHY MEALS! good luck.
