I have thick curly hair, and I was thinking of having my hair down and straight when I wear my costume. My wings come up kinda high, so I have to try to not have my hair get in its way.
Do you have any suggestions for how I should style my hair??? I need specific step-by-step directiosn, if you're thinking of something out of the ordinary. If you could send me a link to a picture of the style you had in mind, with directions on how to do it, that would be great!!!

I would go for a sleek, stylish updo. My personal recommendation would be a chignon. Which is like a low twist to the nape of your neck. That way it'll be out of the way of the wings and you will be able to wear the antennaes without your hair drawing attention away. Check out the link so you can see what I'm talking about

I would think an updo would be cute with the ladybug costume. I was going to be a ladybug too! I think the curly hair maybe in a high pony tail would be cute with that costume.

Wear it in a "ballet bun". After you get your hair straight, slick it down with gel, put it in a ponytail and twist it around. Use bobbypins to secure it. Position the bun so it won't interfere with the antennae. When I think of a ladybug, I think "shiny and sleek". I don't think you should wear your hair down.

Antenna usually go right on top of the head, so I would suggest something cute like pigtails or maybe buns like what Princess Leia wore in Star Wars. That would be cute. =) Have fun!

hey y dnt you do a quif
straighten your hair with a hair straightener
take a small section of your hair a from the middle
twist it twist it twist it
push it forward but not 2 much
clip it in place
you shoud now have a bump like thing on you head
now use gel to gel the rest of your hair back into a pony tail
my instructions are kind of crap

gel
hair band
thats about it

Definately down and straight. I page boy would be best but you probably don't want to cut your hair for one day. Go to a costume shop and get a black wig that looks like the costume designer from "The Incredibles."

Two buns to look like anettnas but i know u dont want to gel ur hair into two giant anettas.so two buns or either a slick pulled back look with a cute bun.i think anything with a bun goes.or ur hair straight down.

i think you should let you hair down maybe hard or just curls or MAYBE get your hair hard with lots and lots of hair spay and get half or ur hair and but the top your gonna but it in to a bun and then its gonna look really big (fancy) it will look cute i bet you ill try to get you a picture so u could see and i think its gonna look perfect with your costume

if you're going for the sexy look, then a slick bun at the back of your head would be really great. add some antannae on top for a cute finish.
