Depends on how big the apple and orange are. Maybe you are comparing apples and oranges. ;-)

A 2 1/2" fresh apple, eaten with the skin, has 61 calories. A 3" diameter Florida orange has 73 calores. Believe it or not, California navel oranges, California Valencia oranges, and Florida oranges have different numbers of calories, even if they're the same size!

Yes an apple has more calories than an orange. But an orange has a higher sugar content.
Apple- Calories 44
Carbs 10.5
Water 85%
Sugar content-1%
Orange-Calories 35
Carbs 85
Water 73%
Sugar content-6%
Both however, only contain trace amounts of fat

Depending on the size, an apple has about 80 cal, not sure about an orange. It's mostly sugar, but they are so full of nutrients. Fruit is good for you, much better than eating 80 calories of rice cake.

Probably. Orange has more water. A Red pepper has 10times as much Vitamin C as an Orange though.
