Of course. Who doesn't? Election Day is about to dawn. VOTE. And vote for the Democrats or the Independents; anybody but the Republicans, even if good ones have to fall, I've voted for Republican congresspersons in the past. But now it's slash and burn time. Take away Bush's power to run our country like an arrogant, condescending power monger who is incapable of caring about the people of our country. The repeal of Habeas Corpus is a death blow to our democracy. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

I will answer, but please don't report me like most wieners.
1. There is a point, go look up everything since Invasion of Kuwait.
2. Anyone that still remotely thinks he did it for dad is not fit to have a vote.
3. We are proud and we can pretty much kick the crap out of anyone in the world today. The problem is that we are trying to win and be nice which never works. If Breamer hadn't taken over, Iraq would have been a done deal 2 years ago. He is the problem. BTW, I failed to see what country you are from, thats cool tho, you can be ashamed, we understand.

Are you there? Have you ever been there? Have you any clue what is actually going on in the world? Perhaps you are simply flapping your virtual lips to make a noise that you imagine will make you seem urbane, educated, civilized, intelligent or a host of other adjectives that will boost your fragile ego.

I have been there. Do you feel sorry for the host of people who only feel safe when foreign military is in the immediate vicinity? I was there while my children were home waiting for me. Do you feel sorry for my children? I was there. I met orphans, widows and widowers. Do you feel sorry for those people who look to us to solve all thier problems and don't understand why a nation whose streets are paved with gold and FREEDOM can not simply heal the world in an instant?

Pity, (feeling sorry for someone), is flatly insulting. Do something useful. Offer your support. Send books, (enough with the cheap harlequins), and magazines for the troops to read. Most of the chapels have no hymnals. Do something.

Send gifts for the local citizens by way of the troops. You would be amazed how much brighter every one's day is when the troops can hand out crayons, coloring books, clothing, anything.

No, I don't feel sorry for us. I remember every day how Saddam Hussein forced this country to live in fear, and how he attempted to ethnically cleanse this region of the earth. He had his son-in-law executed for disagreeing with him. He had to go.

The thing is, if we hadn't come here, and Saddam had started up some more crap, everyone would be saying, "Where was America back when the trouble first started?"

This has nothing to do with making anyone's "dady" proud, but a whole lot to do with liberating a people who are glad we are hear.

This may very well turn into another South Korea, in which the young generation will spit on us on sight, but the older generation will remember what we did for them and gladly offer us anything they have.

I feel very sorry for the soldiers in Iraq. My hubby was in Iraq for 1 year (on his way home right now) and he said it is a complete shithole. I understand they signed up for this service but nobody understands the full capacity of how bad it is until they are put into the situation. You see movies showing soldiers leaving but you don't know how bad it is until you watch your loved one march off and you can't say anything to them and they are going to some terrible place.

the liberty you may desire to voice your opinion grew to become into offered and paid for by way of the blood of squaddies like those in Iraq. merely considering you do no longer basically like the President, or think of this grew to become into the incorrect concern to deliver troops too, is your top and your organization. you may nicely be grateful that smarter, older and wiser people than you by way of the years, sent troops to places like, France, North Africa, Germany, Spain, Korea, Okinawa, halfway, Tarawa so as which you will have the liberty to voice your opinion. squaddies do what they're experienced to do and stick to orders. If this have been a appropriate worldwide, and we did no longer have 2 bit dictators like Saddam, alongside with Iran's chief and North Korea, we does no longer be sending troops in harms way. If we don't, then we can sit down lower back right here and look ahead to them to return to us. I served in Nam, sort of seventy two. My son is in Iraq for the 2nd excursion and specific, I subject approximately him, yet he's an American combating guy, experienced by way of the excellent, to be the excellent and he, like lots of others, desires your help. in case you hate President Bush, it extremely is your top, yet do no longer hate the warriors doing their jobs and don't lower back stab them.

They enlisted! There is no stinking draft. If there was no stinking Iraq, there would be something else. I know, I was in for 35 yrs. The govt. will always find a way to screw our servicemen. They need to increase the enlisted pay to around 6000 dollars a month for an E-1, and the increase it for each pay grade.

Do I feel sorry for them? ~ No I don't. I feel proud of them. I am saddened when one of them is hurt or killed. My heart bleeds for the families of lost loved ones. But again, I feel very proud of our soliders. I am glad to know that we have people who risk their lives to make this a better place to live. Everyday I thank a soldier and do what ever is asked of me to help support them. If you feel there is no point, then maybe you should live in a 3rd world country and see if you like that better than supporting our soldiers and the USA!

A bit, i am not trying to comment on bush. THe soldiers that are send to Iraq can't just come back with something undone. Also they are trying to help us prevent terrorist from the shiites muslim religion. If i am the child whose parent gone to Iraq and fght, i would of course feel bad but there is nothing to do about it. This is a probobility choose and when ur pick, then you go. I HAVE NO COMMENT ON BUSH! I AM TAKING ABOUT THE FACTS OR THE OPINIONS! NO BUSH
