I do actually have naturally curly hair but its too curly and i dont like it so i straighten it, howver i would really love to wear my hair in those loose curls that is all the fashion at the mo, but no matter what heated rollers or tongs i use my hair just wont curl with this tools. Does anyone know why. The shortest part of my hair is the front which is to my shoulders and the rest is about 3 inches longer than the bottom of my neck. Can anyone suggest anything - no perms please.

try bendy rollers ... you can use them when your hair is wet or dry and style the curls how you like ... you can get packs of eight from stores like Boots ... just roll your hair around one of the bendy rollers and then lift the ends to secure it ... it won't take long either and you can get sexy loose curls that last for ages!

Do you have thick or thin hair? You might be putting too much hair in one roller. Also, do you put anything in your hair before you put the rollers in? Like mousse or gel? If not, you need to put some hair gel in your hair first before putting in the roller. Also, how do you take the rollers out? Very gently or yank them out? That can have some measure how it turns out as well. I hope some of this helped. There can be many reasons why your hair won't curl the way you want it too.

When you have finished washing your hair, twist it up into a tight bun. Hold in place with hair scrunchies. Go to sleep. Let it loose in the morning. That's how my sister does it and it works for her.
