YOu get the oil of choice and see how the essence of it corresponds to the spell work you want to do. For instance Lavender oil for Love Spells. YOu pray over it you leave it so that it has access to moonlight and you pray over it or repeat your intent all over it.

The procedure isn't blessing, it's sanctification. The sanctification (separating for a higher purpose) can be accomplished, in part or whole, through a blessing or benediction.
