Being in a room with 1,000 people in white tie and tails in Stockholm, listening to your 50-year old daughter say "I'd like to thank the Nobel Committee for this honor. My real pleasure, however, comes from the letters I get from parents. Once in a while someone will think of the woman who discovered the drug that saved their child's life, and write me a note with a picture of their child. I'll put this gold medal on my wall, but it will be surrounded by those pictures, and I think you all know which I will value more . . ."

Honestly? Every stage of her growing. I remember when my daughter was 3 months old, thinking that I didn't want her to change and just stay where she was. But every stage just gets better and better. She's 16 now, and every age has been my favorite!

Nothing. There is nothing better than that. I have three year old daughter and I love her and never leave her when I'm home. She is my life.

Congrats and hope she grows into a cute, wonderful, nice girl.

Absolutely nothing on this earth. I'm sooo happy to hear of a parent treasuring their precious gift. Enjoy every moment, as you have probably heard a thousand times, they grow up fast.

Holding a significant other at the same time, you know the one that helped you create that daughter of yours.

Watching the changes to come with her as she learns to sit up, crawl, stand, walk, say mamma/dadda for the first time. For the first time hearing the words, "I love you mommy/daddy" as she gives you a big hug and a kiss and knowing that she actually understands what she has just said.

Aww. I love moments like that. Cherish it because it goes by so fast. My youngest (twins) are almost 3 now and I still don't know where time went. It seems like yesterday they were just lil ones.
