Sometimes he saturates it, we have to wipe him down with baby wipes EVERY time we let him back in the house.

Clean all the areas thoroughly where the puppy has peed or pooped with a lysol spray. There is a spray you can get from the pet store, you spray it in the areas where the dog has gone before. The spray (cant remember the name) is offensive to the dog, may be even a little offensive to you. I the dog is selecting one peticular area to go pee and poo then place newspaper over that area, if the dog goes on that paper then re-inforced that with a "good dog" "good Boy", then gradually over time move the paper a little at a time to where you want the puppy to go. Also give a "good boy" when they go outdoors! The common rule for puppies is to let them outdoors within 10-20 minutes after a meal, puppies dont have the bowel control of an adult dog. And take them for a walk on a leash the earlier the better!

I have a chihuahua that pees on himself when he doesnt' lift his leg cus it just 'shooots' forward right on his leg, and a Mastiff that tries to walk and pee and pees all over himself.

Not much you can do, unfortunately. Keep wiping him down so he doesn't get any skin problems. Try letting him out more frequently so he doesn't pee as 'hard' or as much so its not such an issue.

Years ago , my family had a Beagle . When he was young , he would lift his leg to pee ... andthen tip over . Pathetically funny .. Bottom line is that beagles are different . They just don't fit into the same molds as the other breeds . ( As if you haven't observed this already ...) Square pegs just dont quite fit into the round hole.

hahahahahahahahaaaa, thank you , i actually laughed my azz off for a minute. And if hes 15 months already, it unlikely he will really change unless trained and hard core. Its simply becuz of the way his urine flows out of his tube... it probably goes str8 instead of downward... ask your vet. but im pretty sure there is nothing you can really do... Maybe train him to pee with his legs on the other side of a retaining wall..

take him to the vet and see what he thinks. mine's a boy too, except he doesn't lift up his leg or squat down, he just stands there completely still while he pees.

this is an interesting problem. that you may want to consult a vet about how to train him to urinate. because lifting the leg to urinate is learned from other dogs it may be a bit difficult

My dog actually stands on his back legs with his two front paws resting on the wall when he pees, he only started doing it since the last wall fell on him

It's knob is bent so it can't wee straight.
Either that or it's just not got used to doing a wee like that yet, it'll get used to it over time.
