If this question is for a young child, usually interacting with the grandparents comes pretty naturally. Talking and laughing and doing fun simple things together are best (going to the park, etc.) If this is for older person, patience is the key. Many elderly people repeat themselves, don't point this out to them-be tactful and patient and listen. They always have interesting stories to tell, you can learn so much about history and how things used to be when they were young. Treat them with love and respect, they need to feel like they still have something to offer, and they do!

i have always been around my grandparents, even now i still go visit at least once a week, i just talk to them, the way i would anyone else just much louder, and with slightly less swearing!!! just be yourself, take an interest in what they are doing, hobbies, old jobs they had etc, i suppose it could be abit akward at first if you dont really know them that well, but just speak to them like you would your parents.

First, is to learn how to write grammatically correct. Not too dos??? It's not TO dos, or better to say the dos and the don'ts.

Haven't you had a relationship all your life with your grandparents? Why the sudden need to change?

You can be whatever you want. Just trust me, grandparents are more friendly than parents or sometimes even than normal friends. My grandfather is like my friend and he talks to me a lot.

The thing is that they will like you whether you like them or not and whether you are good or bad.

my daughter loves to go to McDonalds with her Grandparents. We do not ever go there, so it is a BIG treat for her. Also, baking going to the park, or just spending time together is always good.

Just be yourself. Don't be afraid to ask questions, they've got a few more years experience in life than you do. Show them some respect by being polite, and by truly listening to them.

Along with the rest of these answers, never act like you know everything.Although you may know something they don't, don't straight out challenge them, ease them into what "you".That way you'll get along much better.

talking is good, ask them to tell you about the past, i.e. family, wars, depressions, presidents etc. I was always rapt when my grandma would tell me about the old country, now I'm a grandpa :)
