Dreams are not what they seems. They are expressed in a symbolic not literal form.
Because I have only your question to work with, I must make some assumptions: Your father is alive, your mother may or may not alive, you do not live with your father, and your relationship with you father is extremely close like that of a colleague.
Is your father alive? How old is he? Have you realize that he is mortal? Have you realize that your mother (especially if she is not living) is helpless with his mortality? And eventually so are you.
Dreams more from the unconscious to the conscious when the mind is ready to absorb it. In this case, you are aware of two dreams similar but different. The first deals with your father and yourself, and the second deals with your father and your mother and you. The dreams surfaces in a form that is sort of rational but depends on an underlying emotion: in your case, loss.
You probably already know this; with your dreams surfacing, you accept this.

Hi,
I believe this may be a dream about your purpose in life. The dream was repeated for emphasis. It's no fluke. The people in your dreams may be symbolic, but at least part of your purpose and destiny involves having a part in doing what is necessary to bring life to people who are in desparate circumstances. It may not involve you having to learn any special skills. You may just be willing to be available to help when needed...and you will be in the right place at the right time to offer critical help to people!
Hope this helps!

Someone who you hold dear to you that is wise must be having some sort of problems in their life. You are picking up on this and not sure what to do. You should visit old friends.

Hard to tell without knowing you - but it might well mean that you wanted at some level to do something with your life that helped people.

Maybe it has something to do with what you do for a living - are you an EMP or something? Maybe you have a family member who is sick and you wish you could help them? Maybe it's just a dream?

i'm no specialist yet i imagine because you care a lot on your tooth your basically dreaming about your fears (your petrified of dropping your tooth). if you're a believer of desires telling the destiny, possibly you'll lose alot of tooth.

I believe that your dream means....absolutely nothing. However, if it does indeed become a premonition, then you are a heroine and I am an idiot. And vice-versa.
