Remington Wet2straight only seem to work really well on dry hair - which kind've goes against the idea that they are quicker & less hassle than drying hair first.
If you go for GHD's though, watch out for the earlier models - there have been loads of incidents with them catching sparking/fire (even when turned off).

Wet to dry are so bad for your hair. It's just another sales tactic by the companies as everybody owns straighteners. Spend you money on GHDs and you'll never look back.

Wet 2 straight are great. I have a pair. With GHD's you have to dry your hair first and then faff about straightening your hair, but wet 2 straight do the whole job. Try them off friends before you buy though.

Ignore all the uneducated people here... Nothing beats a good set of GHD straighteners! I find wet to dry straighteners are more damaging.

GHD'S are the best straightners out there, wet2dry take ages to do your hair its alot quicker to dry your hair quickly then run ghd's through. Wet2 dry cause more damage because there actulally on the hair for a lot longer and hair is more fragile when it is wet

Not at all. Wet to Dry straighteners are not good for hair because when your hair is wet, it is fragile and can break easily. That said, you should never style your hair when it is wet. You need to first dry it and then style it. GHDs use negative ions that do not cause damage to hair.

WET TO STRAIGHT__
*damage you're hair from the heat, and when straightening normally, sometimes don't straighten too welll. Depends on the kind you get.
GHDS__
*amazing i have no faults wwith theese. They are perfect and i got a superb deal on ebay!!!
If i had to choose definatley GHDS get my vote. They leave you're hair soo sleek shiny and most importantly STRAIGHT.
