That have no desire to leave or come to the U.S.A? Most Mexicans stay in Mexico. Who said that most of Mexico's population is in the U.S? That's a bunch of ignorant talk from ppl. talking through their butts.
Mexico is a beautiful country with beautiful blue beaches and green landscape (not talking about Tijuana). Mexico's economy is larger than some european countries like Spain who "conquered", trashed, and looted Mexico but is still poorer than Mexico. Mexican women especially from northern Mexico are incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, the ones who do come here and the ones YOU see are the dirt poor, uneducated ones who act well.......uneducated. The government in Mexico is VERY corrupt and needs to start taking care of those dirt poor ones instead of pocketing the money. What do you think?

I know Annie, I'm getting a lot of thumbs down too cause no one is supposed to say anything good about Mexico or Mexicans...It's funny. I'm not sweating it.

Eros21, I know Mexico's wealth is unevenly distributed, and everyone knows that Mexico's government and president have always been very corrupt....it's like that all over latin america, asia & africa but I hope this new Mexican president cleans things up.

I agree with most of what you say....However, Spain is a first world country and is relatively a wealthy country, considering its size....I completely agree with you though, that Spain did trash and loot Mexico and its native people.....Greedy Europeans.....

I was with you in all until I came to this line,

"Mexican women especially from northern Mexico are incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, the ones who do come here and the ones YOU see are the dirt poor, uneducated ones who act well.......uneducated."

'Poor and uneducated'...o.k. I could take that. What ticked me off was that you had to put 'dirt' before poor.

Oh and yeah and by the way what does being poor and uneducated have to do with being beautiful? I'm sorry but that makes no sense.

Yes I do know that about Mexico. And I do understand the problems it faces with its government. The new President Calderon,( I hope I spelled his name correctly)has already endorsed President Fox's stand on not stopping the flow of illegals from the Mexican side of the border. That's not indicative of any change in policy.Perhaps he can do better in the domestic issues that plague his country.Lets hope that he or someone can bring about social change to Mexico, there are so many good things about the country and the focus is always on the bad.Because of the negative impact of the illegal immigration/exodus from Mexico, the entire country gets a bad rap.I feel that only the people have the power to change their country, and all their energy should be focused on that goal.Help your country and you are helping yourself.
If most Americans only see the "so called "worse people from Mexico, how can you expect them to feel any different than they do.They don't get to see any thing else from Mexico.Don't fault them for judging what they see on a daily basis's.

I think your comments are refreshing to say the least. Mexico has worked wonders the past few years against poverty and corruption, unfortunately that has mostly been undone by the unending and growing war against Mexico by the American Illegal Drug Consumer. The American appetite for illegal drugs (The US consumes 80% of the world's illegal drugs) is pouring BILLIONS into Mexico, and into their agents and allies, the drug cartels who on the behalf, of the American Illegal Drug Consumer are using this vast American money corrupting the country as fast as the new government can clean it up and paying for the murder of thousands of honest police, prosecutors, judges, reporters and civilians every year. The American Illegal Drug Consumer's demand for illegal drugs is destroying everything in its path here in Mexico.

There is less and less money "pocketed" every year. Because of the reduction of corruption and rapid growth of the economy there should be THREE times as much money available for education, infrastructure and investment to handle rural poverty (and therefore illegal immigration) as there was 6 years ago! There is actually LESS today, it has ALL gone down the shitter of Mexico's unending war against the AMERICAN Illegal Drug Consumer!

And for those of you actually naive enough to suggest that you are not against Mexicans, just illegal immigrants, before you make such stupid and ignorant statements, just take a second or two to read the actual comments of your fellow citizens! The vast majority of you gringos are white-trash, racist, xenophobic, Klan-scum, hate-mongers. When you actually READ the answers you will see it runs about 4-1. That's why the rest of the world mostly hates y'all, because y'all just hate everybody else..........

Mexico is a beautiful country, but the corruption of their government has led them to become a poverish nation. Most Mexicans do not wish to come to the United States, if it were true, there would be more than 11 million illegals in the country. Correction, not all illegals are Mexican so 11 million is a high number to associate Mexicans with. The truth of the matter is in the Media. What it tells Americans, what they wanna believe and what they wanna think. I do not hate illegals, I welcome them if they wanna be part of our society. Those who commit crime are no better than the citizens who also commit crime. Freedom Forever.

I agree that alot are still in Mexico, but the ones that come here are beautiful too, and dont act uneducated! You say the ones in the North are beautiful because they are whiter, but that is not true, there are many many dark women there that are beautiful!

i think i agree with you about Mexican women being incredibly beautiful but that's where it ends. The fact is a lot of Mexicans do leave their "beautiful" (corrupt) country to find a better life in the USA. Their economy may be better than some third rate country from Europe but it is enjoyed by a few people, Mexico's wealth distribution is grossly one-sided that they don't even have a middle class. You are either rich or poor or dirt poor.

Yes, you are right! there are so many million mexicans in Mexico, although Los Angeles is the city with most mexicans in the world, leaving Mexico city out the first place. It is also true that Mexico is a beautifull country with the most friendly like citizens who give big warm welcome to foreigners, unlike many other so-called- first world countries. Also true that mexicans crossing the border to go live in the US are not exactly the most indicated to represent our country, but still not all of them are bad. In Mexico, we are all hoping for a change on this new goverment to begin on December 1st.

Some of what you say is true, and some of it is, well, just plain fiction. Mexico does have some really beautiful areas. It is unfortunate that the resorts are basically European and American international companies taking advantage of the resources - and the beaches near these resorts are very dangerous with untreated sewage. As for the rest, what country and people are just totally blowing it, living next to the richest and most powerful economy in the world. I mean, how is it that after all these years they still have a poverty rate of something like 85% and classified as a "third world country"?
