I can't take ibuprofin, so what do you do when you throw out your back? I'm laying on a heat pad whimpering like a baby. . . =) Wow, I hate feeling like an invalid when there's so much to do!

Yeah, I guess I AM getting old. . .I don't feel like it until this stuff happens! Thanks for pointing that out in my time of pain (whine/sob!)

you said you can't take ibuprofen - what about naproxen? It's name brand is Aleve, and for me it does a way better job - my back just waits for an excuse to go out, so I feel your pain!

I will tell you the secret to get rid of back pain, When ever i throw my back out. I will go and start doing situps. it may hurt when you're doing them but believe me your back will get better fast! and you will injure it less often
