"Why do christians wonder when Muslims say that all prophets are Muslims and that Jesus PBUH was a Muslim: ie holder to the Islam Faith?"
The question that arises becomes, "When did the Jews no longer become Elohim's chosen people?" Look at Abraham who beget Isaac the child of promise. Gen. 17:15-22. We see that Promise continued and Abraham's Faith in Elohim was put to the test Gen. 22: 1-18. Again in Gen. 24: 42-67. Gen. 26: 1-28: 1-22 So we see the Promise was given to Abraham and to his offspring. But what Exactly was given? Heb. 11: 8-39. It was the Faith that they had in HAYAH for up til that time He was referred to as Elohim, but during the Israelites Exodus that is when He said, "I am that I am!" HAYAH. It was through Abrahams's, Isaac's, Jacob's, and Joseph's Faith that God's righteousness was revealed. And culminated in the Power He showed in Egypt when He led the Children of Isreal out of bondage through His servant Moses. Yahshua (Messiah) is the One who emodies everything Prophet, Priest and King. Prophet the like of Moses: What did he do?
1) Moses interceded between HAYAH and His People.
2) Moses led the Hebrews out of bondage.
3) Moses did as he was commanded Lev. 8:4 and so many other verses like it.
4) Moses was a humble man.
5) Moses was given the Law to give to Israel.
Now the Messiah is referred to as a Priest, what kind?
We find that in Heb. 7:1-9:1-28. And look back again to Gen. 14: 18-20.
The Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, and a host of others including David, shows that from the tribe of Judah would the Messiah come. A king, a Priest and Prophet. The one we call Messiah, Prince of Peace, Savior, and Christ. The timeline fits, the prophesies fit. What He did while on the earth fits and His resurrection definitely fits. So many similiarities between what the Passover stood for and What Christ did for mankind. You say you cannot have it both ways, where in Scriptures do you claim this? The Prophets claim that The One will be a Prophet, a Priest, and King. So are we looking for 3 individuals to come or One that fit all those titles? Read, Study, Prove what is TRUE. Or position may both be wrong what isn't wrong is the glaring fact that we unfortunately, can't both be right. 2 Tim. 3: 16-17 Also look at Yahshua's Life and pick apart His teaching and His miracles and the words of the Future He said. And then look at what His apostles foretold, remembering that if just one Prophesy comes to naught then that Prophet doesn't come from God.

Did you cut and paste this from someone else? Cheap. Why do you assume that brother does not mean that he would come from the Jews? Aren't brothers in the same family? What would He say if he meant that the prophet would come from the Jews? Sister? If you consider that Muslims are bas.tard kids of Abraham, it would make them cousins more than brothers. Even if it doesn't refer to Jesus, the Old Testament is full of prophets that spoke for God. There is no reason to assume it refers to Mohamed except that you really want it to say that.

He was talking about Jesus. Later on in the bible he states that his prophet will be of the house of David (Joseph, the man who raised Jesus) was a descendant of the House of David.

I am a Christian and I do not wonder about Jesus. He is the son of God who died on the cross for our sins. Through accepting of Jesus as savior and repenting of sins, and turning our life over to HIm, we shall be born again. This is what I believe. I do not wonder at all. All I need to know is found in the KJV bible.
