Good for you!! My house has been decorated for Christmas for a week. Even have lights outside the house! I don't like Halloween, so we could go right by it for all I care and go right to the Christmas season! It's so short a season, so why not start early! I love it!!

As long as it is an artificial tree, not a real tree that will dry and catch fire, decorate to your heart's content. I used to have a neighbor who would start playing Christmas carols October 1st, so by her standard, you are late!
On the other side, there was a old maid socialite in my home town who left her tree (cut tree) up until Valentine's Day where it was redecorated for the holiday and a party held. I'm sure her decorators were not pleased about decorating a very dry and brittle tree in February.
I'm envious you have the room to put up a tree for so long.

I like to put my tree up on the 1st December when the children open their Advent Calenders, and they begin to get excited. I do begin to feel a bit more like the Christmas season this is when we begin our Christmas shopping and buying and writing Christmas cards. I think it great your having your Christmas tree up and I love sitting in front of the fire with no lights on except the twinkling of the Christmas ...

If it's a fake tree, sure! Why not? You'll have first choice on buying the ornaments that are for sale in the stores now.
My mother has a holiday tree, year round - She changes out the decorations. She puts on hearts for Valentine's, shamrocks at St. Patrick's, eggs and chicks at Easter, etc.

It is pretty early for putting up the tree..you should wait until maybe Thanksgiving, and if you're too excited to wait until then you should at least wait until the very beginning of November.

Well if you have Halloween decorations up then yes but if not then go for it. I think you should enjoy it for as long as you like. I usually do it on thanksgiving day but I may start putting some things out when I take down my few Halloween things.

It's not even Halloween yet, how can you possible be in the Christmas mood? I think any time before Thanksgiving is too soon. But, if it really makes you happy... go for it!
