David asked the same question in a different way.

Psalm 139:7-14 (New International Version)

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"

12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Most of people are almost sure that we can never see god but only feel his presence. When it comes to feeling something it has to be felt by the individual. One cannot feel the pain or pleasure of others with the same degree.

So you yourself have to search for the feeling of god with your instincts and intellect. (So how to search? Here comes the religion. A religion is a mixture of faith, myth and rituals. Combination of these is the path laid by any religion to find god. This is an elaborate concept, which is to be dealt in a different circumstance).

My best wishes for your success in finding god.

Okay well I am a Christian. If you don't believe in what I will say then it's okay, you don't have to change your thoughts.
Well I am 11 and I go to church and have strong "FAITH" in god!!
I believe that god is farther than the clouds.. alot farther. God is tthe farthest person away from us.. BUt then Again he is allways right beside us.
But god is in Heaven but atthe same time is right by you watching everythign you do......
NO he is not a stalker. He is doing thta to see if your going to Heaven or HEll!!
(Sorry I got interrupted buy and IM!)
Neways, God is the person who made all of us so you should use your life wisely because you only have one life to live...

Almighty God 'Allah' is sitting (Without How) Over His Throne above Seven Skies and his Essence, Will, Power and Great Knowledge is everywhere on his Creation.

Allah and his creations are completely different entities, God is Not his creation Nor he is a part of it,

Because No God worth of worshiping Except Allah and anything else is his servant and creation, Allah calls the human away from the worshiping of the creation and invites him to the worshiping of the creator -- Allah himself, because the greatest sin of humanity is the worshiping of the creation.

Allah responds to man's prayer and He is the only one who has the power to accept or reject it. He is the Master of man's destiny, No one ever else can interfere with the fate of others or even with his own fate!

He is the Only Creator, Ruler, Lord, Administrator and Master of all that exists, And this Universe exists and functions because the will of Allah alone.

All the human's hopes and fears should be only directed to Allah. He is the object of fear & source of favour.

Allah is Absolute Unite and he is not independent on anything or anyone else or even alike, He is not three on one Nor father and son.

God is a word man made up to give the human species an answer to the question "Why?" This is due to our inability to let things just "be". So where is God, you ask? All in your mind.

God is in you, in me, in the animals, in the birds, in the mountains, in the streams, in the waterfalls, in the breeze, in Katrina, in the idols, in the clouds and rains, in the thunder and lightning, in the beggar, in the rich, in rags, in the sun, in the moon, on the earth, on all planets, in the whole universe and on everything we can locate.
You may just call it 'Nature'.
Or you call it anything as you like.
