You have to be 21 years of age in the Unites States to legally drink alcoholic beverages. Tea, coffee and Mountain Dew , along with hunderds of other soft drinks, are legal at any age. Parental discretion is advised.

Unfortunately, any age! Now, with the Starbucks rage, we have an even younger generation of caffeine addicts. Though now, with high nutrition standards, schools have a ban on soda pop and energy drinks for the sugar and caffeine levels.
