Most aircraft are sent to "boneyards." Boneyards are large parking lots in vary dry areas like Arizona and New Mexico so that the aluminum doesn't rust. Most are sold for parts to people who have the smae type of aircraft, like an Auto junkyard. Occasionally, the main skin of the aircraft is recycled, but all of the other parts are taken off and sold.

The Air Force uses Davis Monthan AFB, next to Tucson, AZ.

MOST of them are cut up and recycled. Maybe made into beer cans, who knows?
