I have one of the more advanced models of the Sony Robotic Dogs. Last weekend I came home after drinking excessively and got into a heated argument with my partner. The noisy argument activated Scooby who approached me with his plastic bone in his mouth. I have the dog programmed to approach me when he identifies my voice pattern. He dropped the bone and continued to bark for about 5 minutes. The virtual bark finally got to me and I kicked Scooby against the wall. The powerful kick seems to have damaged his internal workings and while he whimpered for about 2 minutes, there has been no life out of him since then. I have killed this dog. Should I give myself up?

So let me get this straight. you come home after a night of heavy drinking and Scooby wakes up from his peaceful sleep (probably dreaming of him and you throwing the Frisbee around in the park) and picks his bone up with his cute little magnetic mouth and brings it over to you, only to have you kick him where the wirings don't see the light of day? You sir disgust me!!!

I don't think the police will care about a robotic dog but you need to seek anger management counseling.

What happens if it was real dog or child that you kicked i would have to say turn yourself in. But it was a robotic dog . To me sounds like you have anger problems and drinking just makes it worse. GET SOME HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!.

how awful men like you have this aggressive streak. Don't waste the polices' time. Just promise us (and everyone in your family) you wont ever buy a real dog - and try to grow up, please - before you kick a woman or child

You need to go to AA and get help with Anger Management. Your partner better get out as quick as she can before she starts getting bashed around.If you were my son I would disown you.
