What brands of fading creams are there? Can you buy them at the local drug store, or do you have to purchase from a spa or esthetician?

exfoliate and protect. Look for products with lactic acid, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid all these exfoliate to help even your complexion. Ingredients like Hydroquinone and Licorice extract help to lighten. When using these products you must always protect your skin with spf. Dark skin is very sensitive to pigmentation disorders so be gentle and protect. If you are serious visit a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon and get a peel. I'm a black Esthetician and I love a good glycolic peel 30% or less.

There are products on the market that have blemish control. You can look at your local Target, Walmart in the health and beauty department, and they have products that are suitable.
