I used to have blonde hair but now its brown,I have never had platinum highlights before,some people say it would look good but some say it would look gay! I have no idea,what i should do????

Just do it! You never know until you see it for yourself. I learned it that way, and got get it done by a professional who specializes in just coloring hair, they usually get it right
