Cooking with Paula

I used to love the Food Network when they had different, unique and interesting people like "The 2 Fat Ladies", Tony Bourdain and even Jamie Oliver with his "Naked Chef" show. (I learned alot of great techniques from Jaime Oliver that I still use). Now every time I turn the Food Network on its either Emeril with his Bam!!! bullshit which is really getting old or horse-faced Rachel Raye getting crammed up my butt. (My 10 year old can cook better than she does)
I rarely watch it any more.

P.S. - we used to love the Iron Chef series but they replaced it with Iron Chef America which blows. Theres another face I'm sick of - "Hunky" Bobby Flay. He could'nt cook his way out of a paper bag! If they ever ban salsa in this country he'd have to drive a cab for a living.

I do, I've used a great many of Paula Dean's recipes, Giada DeLaurentis also has super recipe ideas, and while some are a bit complicated, the results are fantastic. Sandra Lee has really good ideas on how to make things quickly utilizing pre-made items at grocery, if you are a foodie purist you might not be as enthusiastic, but they are great time savers. Also, Healthy Eating with Ellie Krieger is great if you want to eat healthy quality dinners that STILL have flavor.

I love to cook and watch it all the time. I know a lot about cooking, so much of the info passed on is old news to me, but they do give me new creative ideas, and remind me of foods/recipes I haven't cooked in a while. Why do you ask?

I am addicted to Food Network. I have used some of Rachel Ray's recipes and some of Michael Chiarello's cooking tips. My new favorite is Tyler Florence and Tyler's Ultimate, his recipes seem pretty easy.

Yes, and my favorites are Paula Dean and Racheal Ray. They cook things that I would most likely eat, plus Paula cooks all those Southern Foods. Racheal has her own talk show on now and she cooks everyday on there and has lots of great tips for everything.

Emeril Live & Alton Brown. I've picked up some good recipes from both. We get tired of the same foods , so we have been using theseto make the meals a little more enjoyable

I think I've been watching it since it started! I watch more for ideas and presentation than the actual recipes. I like Paula, Michael Chiarello, and I still like Emeril.

NOT Bobby Flay or Mario Batali!

oh yes, I like Elton Brown ( dont know if that's how you spell his name) he's on Good Eats. I like Ace of Cakes, could never make a cake like he does, but does give you ideas for cakes for your own celebrations. Ham on the Street, Throw down with Bobby Flay, Behind the Bash, the different kinds of cook offs. I guess I should say the ones I dont like.. lol.. Malto Mario, Barefoot Contessa, Sara's Secrets..
