Hi,

Outlook can also take quite a while to exit depending on where you're using it as it maybe trying to synch with a server (if you're in work).

If it really does not close, use task manager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE) and end the Outlook task. If this does not work move to the tab titled "Processes" and look for "OUTLOOK.EXE" and end it.

I get that problem all the time and the only way is to use ctrl alt del, task manager, end program. Then go to processes and find outlook there and end it. Hope they fix this soon, getting tired of this.

Are you using XP? I suggest you Ctrl+Alt+Del and End Task.
