Most people are just scared of them and think they are gonna get bitten ! But i use to ahve a rottweiler and she was the best dog ive ever had !

Some people are mean to pitbulls and rottweilers because what they watch on TV. Pitbulls seem to have lots of mood swings and fell that they don't get all the love they deserve so they take their anger out on the person who owns them. Rottweilers are treated like they must be the guard all the times and so they never get to play. People treat these animals mean because they don't think they are doing the job they should be doing.

I have two rottweilers, a full grown male and a 6 month old male puppy, and they are the sweetest dogs. Everyone is afraid of them at first, and that is simply because of their reputations to be guard dogs. Both of my guys are protective of our property, but have never acted aggressive towards anyone. People are speaking out of ignorance when they say that they are scared of pits and rotts... if they actually knew one that was trained and treated well then they would realize that they aren't any different than other dogs. There are so many people that take advantage of that protective instinct and make them these horrible dogs that now nobody wants to do anything with them. I love my boys and they are awesome with small children, other dogs, and new people... people who dont have rotts or pits need to realize that they are great dogs- it is all in the training.

wow what a powerful video almost made me cry. I dont get it either, stupidity. We wanted a pit bull puppy so badly, and almost got one, but right around that time our community adopted the viscose dog law and we were unable to adopt him. Every time we looked for a dog at the pound we found ourselves right back at a pit. We have a little girl and a baby on the way. We wanted to raise it with them, so it would protect them with its life, but because of the law we were unable to. My husband was very sad. Its a shame, thank you for sharing the video.

i have breed rottweilers for 17 years. and i know that a dog can be taught to behave like a family dog or trained to attack. my dogs have all been breed with good personalities and i screen the want-to-be new owners. i think it's our responsibility to know the people to buy pups from us. a dog is what you make of it.

Because they are ignorant and don't know there are no bad dogs just bad people Cesar Milan the dog whisperer is known for rehabilitating these breeds which are loyal

I think that it is because they have 1/2 bad dogs in the breed so that means that all the dogs of that breed have to be bad aswell!!

well i think its becuz ignorant people ..that make big deals out of them..just becuz of other peoples stupidity as in people who fight them and make them vicious....i have 3 of my own and yes they will atttack if you come on my property but becuz i trained them that way..not becuz they are mean..they are very loveable i raised mine since they were 1 week old and they are loveable it all depends on how the owner raises them...but every time a pitt attacks they wanna put it on the news , but if its a regular dog they dont make a big deal out of it..if people would stop fighting these dogs and making them vicious..they wouldnt be so mean...but people are mean to them just for the simple fact..they are pittbulls...and very popular dogs. and my pitts play with my horse and cats and baby...but like they have never seen other people thats why they attack...but i agree there are alot of bad owners...i have pics of my dog eating pizza and icecream they are some beautiful memories... so im on your side..

It is through fear. They hear all the bad stories about the breed. People should research the breed and they would not be as afraid.

pitbulls and rottweilers are said to be good fighters. so some people try to make them fight and be mean to them to toughen them up
