Gift certificate to a fine restaurant.
Monogrammed cuff links and a dress shirt with french cuffs.
Liquor.
A battery powered TV.
A gift certificate to a home center is not a gift for him, it's money to buy stuff to repair the house.
A subscription to National Geographic, or New York Times, or any periodical he likes.
A day at the track. (with $100 betting money)
A trip to Atlantic City or Las Vegas.
Finally a child who can read and write English. It's COULD THINK. Never end a sentence with a preposition either.

Hey a massage gift certificate isn't a bad idea. We all love massages, but we hate to pay for them sometimes. If that doesn't fit your budget then try a mall gift certificate, or home depot, Lowe's. This way he can go out and buy whatever he wants.

A good bottle of Scotch. I used to get kind of nervous about getting my father presents (I mean, the man has everything), but then I started buying him Scotch (for his birthday, Father's Day, Christmas). He really appreciates it, even though he is not a drinker himself. He has a large circle of friends and entertains a lot, so he can always use it.

How about a gift card to a building supply store like Lowe's or Home Depot? But to make it more personal how about including a letter to him about how much you all love him and what he means to you. Mention some good memories that you've all shared and how he made them special.

My son wrote his Dad and I a prose poem and printed it on beautiful paper and framed it for us. That was 8 years ago and we both still cherish it. Just think of something from the heart.

My Dad has everything also. It gets harder and harder every year. Last year I gave him a movie box. I got a big popcorn container and put bag of popcorn, candy bars, movie passes, movie rental, dinner certificate. He took his wife to dinner and movie. He thought it was great, they had a date without having to pay for it!
