There's no help for you! You broke the law, YOU hit the other guys car, and he is probably going to sue your *** off!
It is illegal to drive without a license and/or insurance! You are required by law under your insurance policy "terms and conditions" to have your vehicle under control at all times, and you failed both! I would say your injuries won't even be covered at all because of your defiance of the law!
You're what they call "UP SHEEPS CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE!

accident reports take a while anyway especially when someone doesn't provide a license or proof of ownership to a car that was involved. If nobody has contacted you within 2 weeks after the accident I'd suggest keep checking with the police on the case call them and ask the status of case # if not a single person has contacted you I would assume the other person is not holding you at fault and mostlikely their insurance is paying to fix the car and they expect yours to fix your car an pay for your personal injury yourself call the insurance company and explain you had an accident and tell them what happened they should be able to get a police report faster then you will

Although I must say if your able to contact the police within 2 weeks you probably weren't that badly injured so you should have had the paramedics wait until after you've given the responding officers your info they could stop bleeding while waiting or have the police come to the hospital but you let them take you so thats really your fault so sit an wait or call your own insurance company for help

Okay...why don't you have a license? Is it suspended or you just never got one or you let it lapse? Please tell me you at least received some sort of fine for that. Second of all, did you previously have a car on which you had car insurance? Why were you driving without insurance? Two days without insurance...that's asking for trouble right there. If you could have taken the time to buy the car, you could have taken a little bit more to obtain insurance. How did you have plates on the car anyway? As far as I am concerned, you were driving without a license and without insurance - not a very intelligent combination which in my eyes makes you as much at fault as (what I am presuming was the licensed and insured) the driver that turned left in front of you.

If you are in California you probably just lost your car and will have to pay for it... there is a law that allows them to impound cars that don't have insurance, they also can arrest you for driving without license and insurance. If it was just no insurance then you would have to get proof of insurance or your license would be suspended. If the car has been impounded as "evidence" they can hold the car until they are done with it. However, they can't release it to you without a license or insurance. If you bought the car from a dealership and the car is in your name, higher a lawyer! The dealership can't release a car to you without proof of insurance... they usually call the insurance company on the spot and have you add the car then get verification from the agent you spoke with including your policy number. If they gave you a car w/o insurance on it and your state requires it hold the dealership accountable! They can release to you if a licensed driver is behind the wheel if they let you drive it off the lot again there is liability on their part.
Good Luck

Where do you live!!?? You need an attorney NOW. No matter if you had a license or not, the accident was the other driver's fault and everything should be taken care of by their insurance. Unless you plan on dedicating the next two months of your time solid to straightent this out, your better off with an attorney who can handle it a lot faster and more efficiently.

Good luck!

What happened to your license? If you didn't have a license, then you'll be ticketed for driving without a license and for no insurance...it depends where you're from, some cops don't care..some will tow your car and you'd have to pay to get it back..about the report..you should make sure that the person you hit does not know to policeman/woman..we got into an accident before and the police department gave us a go-around back to different cities back and forth..no report found even to this day! sorry cops get the benefits!

Call other driver and see who his insurance company is. Use medical insurance for bills. If no medical insurance, you will have to pay as you go for treatment. Report should never take over 72 hours.
