In my experience, God only answers other people's prayers except mine. So far he hasn't answered any of my prayers with regard to my education, career, health or love or family life. They say you gotta have faith, for faith will bring upon miracles. Do you believe that?

Yes God answers prayers! It just might not be obvious at the time because when most people pray, it is for exactly what we want to happen. Don't forget that it's about Gods will for us. He will change the situation for us, in the way he chooses.
For example, I didn't think God answered my prayer about saving my marraige. I thought i could make it work. Instead, God allowed me to file for bankruptcy, lose my house, barely had enough to eat and feed my 2 young children, and I felt very utterly alone. After it was over, I remember feeling this ENORMOUS sense of peace when i realized that God did this as a blessing to me. He got rid of the worst person in my life (and my childrens lives), He provided food for us in our desperate time of need. Not once were we starving, not once were we without shelter, not once did the power get shut uff. God was there the whole time guiding me out of this terrible situation. I was so ashamed at how I had felt, as if God had abandoned me and wasn't hearing my prayers. I thanked God for everything he had done, and for opening my eyes to see it. Then God sent me an amazing man, who is a wonderful husband, and an excellent father.
Remember this: A.S.A.P. (Always Say A Prayer) God does hear them and He will never abandon you!

Hon, prayer isn't the only way to change. What have you done about your education, career, health or love? Prayer is a tool to help you, not be the only thing you fall back on.

And I do believe in prayers. ONe of my big prayers for a friend of mine was answered. He was dying of cancer and I prayed for a month straight. He's lived two years cancer free ever since.

Every prayer I have ever prayed has been answered. Sometimes the answer is YES, sometimes the answer is NO, sometimes the answer is WAIT. If you really want the full fruits of God and all His blessings, and you ask for specific requests, God will grant them, but only when it is in your own best interest.
Matthew 7:9-11
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Basically, you give the good things to your children. If a two year old wants ice cream for dinner, you don't give it to him.

God answers every prayer. It may not be the answer you want. God is not Santa Claus. Sometimes He says no for a reason, and you may not know what that reason may be immediately. So, yes, you must have faith.

Prayer is not like ordering from a mail order catalog.

Start asking God to do what he knows is best for you, and I guarantee things will change.

And yes ... the key to effective prayer is faith. You must believe that you will receive what you pray for, according to the divine will of God.

Let go. Let God.

Yes, God has answered many of my prayers, and He has not answered many of them as well. Don't get discouraged because God answers in His own time, and provides the answers when we need them the most.

Who won't God heal amputees?!
Why does he answer all kinds of prayers and even makes medical miracles happen but somehow..
Chooses to ignore imputees!

God does not exist.
