I'm not religious but i accept that there are people out there who worship different deities. As long as they do not hurt you, (and I don;t mean the extreamests who dont; actualy follow the teachings of their holy books.) then who cares who they worship? Why such a big deal?

You ARE in the Religion and Spirituality section, so there tends to be a lot of religious discussion here than there would be in some of the other sections.

Exactely, but I'm afraid it is a big deal. I am a Born-Again-Christian, and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who loves us and died for us and Rose from the Dead, and He is alive today. Once you put your trust in Jesus Christ, you will begin to understand the things of the world in a different light. I don't like the word religion, Christianity is a way of life.

What I don't like is people who come into our Christian country, and then force issues about everything and anything, just to get attention. I have travelled far and wide, and whenever I was in a different country, I respected their faiths, their culture, there society, etc. I would go into a Church, Mosque, Synogouge, whatever, and I would pray to Jesus Christ, I didn't start a debate as to telling everyone that I'm a Christian and you must do this or that, because I respected who they were, and quite often the language barrier would be broken through my Faith in Christ. Everyone was friendly, and I had no trouble, if I did what Muslim's are doing, I'd have been dead by now. But I have to pray for them, they still need to be "Saved".

But with Christ, I don't fear death and I've been in some near death experiences, especially when I was in the Army. Honestly, I've seen the hardest of men submit to God under difficult circumstances. God Bless You!

Why is it that people who say they are so tolerant insist that everyone just accept their opinion that we should accept everyone else's views? Being tolerant is accepting that some people don't think like you, which means some people think they are right and others are wrong. If you are really such a beacon of tolerance, it seems like you would get that.

We care what they worship because it affects their lives now and their souls for eternity. It is a big deal.

If you are not religous in thinking what are you doing in this section.

In 2 Timothy read the following and see if you see yourself there.

Chapter 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

THERE IS HOPE FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Because so many non religious people have had a bad experience with someone who was religious, that they have their defenses up, and claim to be better than those who do believe, because they, dont judge, they dont condemn, etc.

Evolutionists hang in the religion Q&A so I guess you're right! Lots of people are "hung up" on religion.

Because everyone is God conscious, but not everyone has the truth. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.

Because some people aren't as mature as you and can't accept that people don't believe the same as them.

Islamics claim their Allah is the only one to be believed in.
Those that do not believe this have to die.
The Quran teaches this.
Let a true Muslim deny this.

BAN THE QURAN.
