I am a Canadian and working on TN visa. I am planning to apply for Green Cad. But as TN visa is not dual intent unlike H1B, some people are saying that its hard to get GC. and if rejected i will not be able to apply for TN visa any more and also to go out of the country i need to apply for advance payroll. Can anyone please tell me how long will it take to get I-140, I-485, EAD and Advance Payroll to get approved and what are the chances of getting approved. Did anyone get Green Card from TN? and how long did it take for them.. Your answers are highly appreciated.. Thanks..

TN is a nonimmigrant visa (as is H1B) so you cannot go from TN to green card directly. You have to go through the entire immigration process, with someone or some entity to petition for you.

Asking about the I-485 and advance parole is getting way ahead of where you are. First, before anything else, you need an approved immigrant petition. If your employer wants you, they can petition for you. Here is some further information on how that first step works.
