let's say you ask a guy a question about homework. and you're pretty sure he likes you, cuz he wont stop staring at you in class.. he answers your question, and says that if you have any more questions you should call him and he gives you his number. now i dont talk to him in school. and then he instant messages me and says that he can explain some stuff about school to me if i want. what does this all mean? and what does he want? is he playing me? he won't talk to me in school, but only stares. why can't he come up to me and say something??

He's probably asking himself the question "What DOES she want?" If he asks you again, you need to give him an answer that won't sound as though you aren't interested in him (assuming you aren't attached to another guy).
I remember someone saying to me when I was your age,'You may chase after a girl, as long as she does the catching' Don't lead him on for too long, but make sure of the right moment to grab him before he loses interest, or another girl makes a go for him. If he's really interested in you, he may ignore other girls altogether, so look for the signs.You're both young so make it last, but not too long.

He likes you. He's just shy..most guys are even though they don't want to admit it. He def. likes you though. You should make the first move in school and start up a conversation with him. Talk to him online first to get to know him a little bit..then the next day in school tell him something like "haha that was funny what you said online yesturday" or something to start a convo with him.

He is shy around alot of people. One on One is his best forum. "Most" people have a difficult time expressing themselves intimately, it is awkward. When others are around it is impossible. He is breaking the ice. Ask him in a humorus way if he is flirting with you, and if you like him then you will have broken the ice.
Step 2. Throw him on the ground if he is flirting with you. Then give him a french kiss, and say strongly "don't you ever flirt with me again"!!! Then push him away.
He will be walking around the rest of the day in bewilderment". You will be blowing the smoke from your six-shooter. A girls gotta have fun.

hey these are clear signs he likes you. he gave you his phone number, instant messages you, stares at you... what else do you want? maybe he's feeling shy to come up to you and actually say something. you should make the next move and try to talk to him, initiate conversation. good luck :-)

I would say he likes you, i used to be the same when i was in high school i would stare at a girl and she would say hi to me and all and i wouldnt say anything back. hes just trying to talk to you no matter what its about (in this case its homework). give him a chance if you like him back.you got nothing to lose.

Hmm, maybe he is nervous when he sees you face to face. Play it cool and see what he is really all about. Let him help you with your homework but if after that he still wont talk to you in school, blow him off.

He sounds kinda shy. Thats not good because if you want this to get anywhere then your gonna have to make the first move. But it definitely sounds like he wants you. Make him talk to you. Just walk up to him and start talking, simple as that.

Maybe he's shy, or maybe he's private and doesn't like to put his business out in front of everyone. Call him for help on your homework and see what he does from there.
