Lottery? No.
If you want something realistic, I believe:
success=opportunity+effort.
Get out there and network with people who can help you get what you want. Make yourself visible to them every single day. Do all the work you can to get what you want. You will get it.
Prayer can't hurt, either, but you have to WORK for what you want.
Remember...NOTHING IMPORTANT IS EVER EASY.

i think it's possible to influence things, especially if strong emotions are involved.
I had a roommate who could feel hatred like ive never seen. She used to wish bad things on people I knew, like death and severed genetalia. I never told anyone but my parents about it, but when she felt especially hateful, some of my friends would feel slight pain whereever she had "cursed". I never mentioned it because i didnt want people to think I was crazy... it was creepy as hell.
