Look, if you have a pregnancy, you are carrying a fetus. Any attempt to 'stop' the pregnancy at this stage is an abortion by definition, no matter what the means. I don't know what medicine you are talking about, but I'm guessing it's the morning after pill, which is supposed to be taken no later than three days after unprotected sex to be effective. But if taking pills ends the pregnancy, what do you have? An abortion. So the short answer is, no.

What you have described does not work. There are ways to cuase a miscarriage, which is what it sounds like you want. We'll get to that though. First, I'm not naieve enough to believe that telling you "absitnence is the way" will work, so instead like me give you some alternatives. First, go to your local health clinic, they usually give away condoms - normally they are in a basket in the waiting room so just grabs some. While you're there, they do free, anonymous AIDS testing. It is important to have this done every six months so keep yourself and your girlfriend safe. Next, your girlfriend needs to go see an OB/GYN or in some states, a local Planned Parenthood or other Pregnancy Clinic. They can inform her on, and help her get Birth Control pills. I have a feeling you two are underage, so it's important to know that she does **NOT** need parental consent for birth control.
Next, I know this seems like a ridiculous suggestion, but you can consider adoption. Birth Parents have more options now, you can have an open adoption, where you have varying degrees of contact with the child and the adoptive family, or of course a closed adoption.
I know of only one way to cause a miscarriage, and I will tell you, but let me say first that you **MUST** do some research first and talk with your girlfriend to make sure that this is truely what you both want. I have had both miscarriages and an abortion, I also have had a child. The female body is designed to *want* a child, so it's important to realize that there are going to be some emotional side-effects, some over which can last for years - and especially when the 9th month mark hits. Please, take the time to think seriously on this, and to discuss this seriously with your girlfriend before you decide to do anything.
There is a plant called Yarrow, when brewed into a tea, it can cause miscarriages. YOU HAVE TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL, too little can cause you to only have an underweight child with health problems, too much can make your girlfriend sick. I am not a doctor, I am not an herbalist, I have no degrees, so talk to a doctor and ask some questions, if you are unsure find someone who knows about herbs and can help you. DO NOT do this soley on my advice, the last thing I want if for someone to get hurt. THe link I provided talks about yarrow dosages, and it's side-effects. Again, please spend some time thinking seriously about this before you make a decision.

No that is not true, and the only way to stop pregnancy besides abortion is the morning after pill. This must be used within I believe 72 hours of conception, and i do not know if it is available everywhere. Some consider this also a form of abortion. The only other ways are to be careful and diligent in the use of birth control, or not to have sexual relations at all. Good luck and God bless

If you do it any other way, then you will be causing yourself more harm. Call your doctor.
but to answer your question, NO drinking a soft drink will not stop a pregnancy.

No, if you stop the pregnancy, whether by surgical or chemical means, you are having an abortion. The dead fetus is expelled from the body -- or the mother is poisoned by it and dies. That's why surgical abortion is so much safer than drinking poison or falling down stairs, or other Victorian solutions to the problem.
We don't have to like the idea of killing the fetus. But if you kill it, that is an abortion. Accept that, or don't do it.

The only way to 'stop' a pregnancy is to use birth control.
Once pregnant there is the morning after pill - you can get that from a chemists (in the UK you can) but you have to do that within 72 hours.
Apart from that abortion is the only other way except miscarriage.
