I know that God loves me!! And I love him too! He's been my all in all. He's awesome and nothing else can compare to him. Without his grace and mercy in my life I have no idea where I would be. Whe I find myself in a rutt, he always works it out for me. He listens when no one else will and I don't have to worry about him telling me he's busy and he doesn't have time. He is so great! And he continues to love me even when I'm not not doing what I'm supposed to be. Who do you know would do all he has for you even when you're doing wrong?

I don't know the exact number but I know the Lord loves me! I was born again some years ago exactly as Jesus said in John Ch.3 to Nicodemus. The Lord calls everyone to salvation as he is not willing that any should perish. I am still amazed to this day that I was born again in the exact same manner as Jesus described to Nicodemus. Once a person believes in Jesus then the Holy Spirit takes over and performs the new birth and this is how I know the Lord Loves me because he dwells inside me.

The questions is, when it really comes down to it, not how many "know" that god loves them, but how many "think" that a god loves them. As you can see in my source link, about 2.1 billion people in the world are Christians, 1.3 billion are Islamic, and about 3.2 billion people don't believe in your god at all.
So to answer your question in a more statistical form, 54%

They do.
Sadly they're wrong, but it seems to keep them happy.
I know first of all that there is probably not a god...
... and secondarily that if there was a god... he / she / it would not be benevolant but entirely ambivalent..... and if he / she / it had a form, it certainly wouldn't be humanoid... Lovecraft probably had the right idea.
So.... yeah... many people "know" .... but I know that no god loves us... and if there really is a god, that the theists will probably be the first to p!ss it off by constantly invoking it, and will end up getting eaten / crushed.
