A. Christians are not cults.
B. Is it all branches of Christianity that have to wear the hats, or just one? I.e. Only Catholics or Protestants or Baptists?
And I think that law should be banned. That's like Hitler making the Jews wear the Star of David so they could identify and persecute them.

It reminds me of Hitler making the Jews wear an armband. What's the next step? Rounding up those with blue hats and putting them in a concentration camp? Who came up with this law anyway?

P.S. Whoops... does that mean I need to wear a blue hat?

No Christians should not be made to wear hats. I have not heard of that law though. A supporting news story would be nice.

I am a Christian, and no one has ever tried to force me to wear any sort of clothing. It may be a small christian fundamentalist cult where they all have to wear them, but certainly there is no law in the UK that says what headgear you must wear, unless it ids for safety reasons. It must be some sort of odd cult, but if members didn't wear it there is no way they could be prosecuted.

If the hat resembles a vase and they wear long blue dresses as well then they are called in Afrikaans [blou-rokkies] havent a clue what they are called in English. They have to wear the hat when they leave their homes, not allowed tv's or any entertainment . Strange people but nice.

Yes, such a rule is unethical. It is bad enough that Christians choose to segregate themselves without having the state do it for them.
However, this law does not exist. I have several Christian friends in Edinburgh and I can tell you that not one of them owns a blue hat.

no, but it shouldn't be forced on anyone. it should be the individuals choice on whether on not they want to wear a blue hat to show they are a christian.
