Several considerations come to mind, your age, diet, recent physical history, enviromental changes, sleep habits and stress levels. If this is a isolated event you may consider covering your bases with a OTC pain medication. If the pain persist, your doctor will need to know whether the pain is blinding, worsening with bright light, relieved with darkness, pulsating in nature, do you see halo's or tunnel vision with headaches. Is the pain in the back of the head that extends down to your upper neck. Does the pain worsen with neck motion? ARE YOU DIZZY? Is the pain behind you eyes or more important behind only one eye. Does the headache cause your eyes to flush red? Do you have a history of sinus problems. If you respond, we can start from there.

headaches are caused by a buildup of fluid in the cranium. your brain itself has no nerve receptors so it is actually the inner layer of the skull that is feeling the pressure. you may try laying down with your upper body elevated for an extended period of time if you want the more natural way to get rid of a headache or there are otc medications in powder form that work the quickest way but are the most disgusting thing to take

If you are addicted to a certain substance like caffeine that you drink at a specific time, you can have a headache if you avoid the beverage. If you stay away from it, the headache will vanish after a week when the withdrawal process stops.

Are you having migraines? They do have preventative medication. You treat your headache before they get started. Talk to your doctor and get a diagnoses.

First of all if they continue go see A DOCTOR please

When I get bad ones and have to go to the E.R. they take an ace bandage and wrap my head with ice bags and I lay in a dark quiet room. However this may not work for you.

Feel better :) ~i~
