there are some people like me who are allergic to deodorant. Therefore, I use a "thai stone" and you can, also, not smell by washing under your arms 2 or 3 times a day. I have heard that aluminium is harmful over time. Why take the chance when there are so many more ways to avoid smelling bad.

I don't smell bad either, but deodorant is an automatic thing for me. I actually just like the smell of deodorant rather than just plain skin. It also makes me feel more confidant when I put my hands up. I know for sure that nobody is gonna say that i stink. The bad smell in the armpits isn't because your sweat stinks. It's because when you sweat your body stays humid and bacteria grows because it perfect temperature and moisture for it to grow. Also, make sure that you really don't smell. Because maybe you don't smell yourself but others can. Ask close friends and family after not wearing deodorant all day if they smell anything.

I have heard that too...aluminum *can* hurt you over time. They say it is what causes altzheimers. Imagine that, we are causing our own dimentia trying to be polite & not smell!
There is a mineral stone you can buy at health food stores that you use like a deodorant...or, you can always move to a cold climate!!

Let's see... 95% of your food is cooked in aluminum (look at your pots and pans!). If you have coffee or tea, that was probably brewed in an aluminum pot. And, don't forget all of your canned food, and your canned drinks all come in ALUMINUM cans!
If aluminum is sooooo bad for you that you need to avoid deodorants then that's a personal decision. However, I'm thinking you have a lot more things to work on if you want to eliminate aluminum influences.
In the hierarchy of risks in life, I'm betting that this one is right below "death by dog bite". Instead, death in a motor vehicle dwarfs the deodorant risks like Everest dwarfs my lawn's mole hills.
