Hippo and Goose have been really down lately. Possibly because the winter is coming and they can't stay out till all hours playing with their friends.
Mrs Pilkinton has decided that she will prepare a surprise treat for them on Sunday. What do you think would cheer them both up and let them see that winter can be fun too?

I think she should create a winter wonderland from torn up pieces of newspaper and make a skating rink with pieces of ice from the freezer, then she should give hippo and goose a veritable feast of choice winter foods like.....erm parsnips and brussels.
Then they will know the joys that winter beholdeth!

if they can't stay out and play with their friends then invite the friends over. they can have snow cones and make paper snowflakes and christmas decorations. or they can make a picture book of things they can do in the winter. like get magazines and cut and paste pictures of sledding, skiing, snowball fights, snowman making... etc...
lots of stuff they can do.
have fun hippo and goose. ha ha.

Goose can easily be surprised by having him for dinner this weekend instead of making him wait until Christmas.
Send Hippo back to Africa where he can wallow in mud and crunch up any locals who come too near.

Mrs Pilkinton could go skate boarding and break her bloody neck
