I am an Army wife, so yes I would wait. It is difficult, and it is probably one of the most difficult lifestyles to live. We will be moving a lot. The Army tells you what to do...you do NOT tell them what to do. You have to be willing to let him go no matter how much you love him. I think that that is the most difficult part. Sometimes, you feel like you are married to the other military wives especially when the guys are gone. The military is like a family all on its own. The military does have its ups and downs, but it is very rewarding to be able to say that you are a military wife/girlfriend. It gives you the sense of pride that my significant other is fighting for this countries freedom and not afraid to do it. What your significant other needs right now is a lot of support. It is not an easy job, and no one ever said it would be.
I hope that this helps and good luck!

Absolutely!! He is fighting for his life and country every day with the thoughts and hopes of seeing you when he returns. your probably his motivation for getting home alive. Don't kick him when he's down. If you really don't want him when he gets back, then be adult about it and wait til he comes back and tell him yourself. don't write him a letter, he might get depressed and end up getting himself and some of his mates killed. But I think you should at least wait for that. If you love him, why would that thought even occur to you?

If I really love him with my heart yes i would but just saying oh i love him and don't mean it then i wouldn't wait for him if i felt that there is no connection because i just spend 3 yrs to find out that he is not the one that i would love to be with. SO i would just follow how i feel !!

why cant you see him while at the army, he gets holidays doesnt he?It would be difficult doing long distance. If it were me i wouldnt bother if your never going to see him in the next 3 years. Guys in the army are always sleeping around because they know they can do it and get away with it
Move on with your life, goodluck!

If I knew in my heart he was the right one for me and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him then yes I would wait for him. If I wasn't sure he was right for me I would probably say to him that I need to spend time getting to know what I really want ie dating other people.

absolutely. i did that and although we didnt end up working through issues we had it was defineitly worth it and i would do it all over again. you have yourself a real man sweetie, dont toss him to the side over that and it will be worth your wait, i can promise you that. the army builds most men up very strong and very into real men. im sure hes got you far into his mind and loves you very much.

Depend on if you really love him, and if the love for him is that strong then you wouldn't have any doubts.
