depending on the breed, they will probably open their eyes in about 2 weeks. i breed golden retreivers and their eyes open at about 2 weeks. like i said it all depends on the breed of dog. usually the smaller the breed the sooner they will open their eyes, and the larger the breed the later they will open their eyes. it will happen and you will be able to see their eyes.

Congrats on the new babies!!!!

Some of their eyes might start opening at about 10 days.. usually takes another week or so before they are open all the way. Just watch for goopy stuff coming out of their eyes which could be potential infection.

Just keep the pups warm! :-)

Depending on the breed,it usually takes 12 to 14 days and if not opened by 14 days old, then you must get a cotton ball, moisten with sterile water and gently wipe agross eyes to soften skin, then try to pull apart very gently,or pup will get an infection in its' eyes.

it might take up to three days for them to really open their eyes... it could be there is to much light around them right now or they haven't adapted to their new environment.... once they open their eyes they will be everywhere so don't worry about it right now... make sure the house/apartment is puppy proofed only b/c once they start to walk away from mom there's no stopping them.... I miss them at that age....
