Is it legal to drive wearing a beard? You could shave it off.......
Isn't it funny how people used to hate speed cameras, but now they love them because they can use them as an argument against those veils that Tony Blair has demonised so successfully?
Hee hee. 2 thumbs-downs already with that innocuous little jibe. Guess I must have touched a nerve.....

I'm not sure what the real answer to this is - but I would use a logical response to say that if it's illegal to have a tinted screen - exactly the police complaint of being unable to identify the driver in CCTV footage (speed cameras to you and I) - then I should think that it possibly could be claimed to be illegal to drive a car wearing a veil.
Then again, I should have thought that Islamic law would make it illegal for a woman to drive a car - after all she is not allowed to be independent of a man - who, if she had one, would be the one who had the right to drive .....

What would be the outcome if I, or you, were to conduct our daily business while wearing an SAS type Balaclava?
Quite recently anyone entering a shopping mall was being required to remove Hoodies / Baseball Caps and the like.
Why should a moslem woman wearing a Hijab or Burka be any different?
Imagine going into an convenience store / off-licence or business operated by a moslem proprietor wearing a Balaclava.....!!!!!
Another thing, the Hijab, Burka or veil was/is worn against the men within the Islamic community. This was to prevent moslem men from becoming inflamed towards another man's wife, daughter or sister.
It was not for the benefit of non-moslem men. It says a lot about moslem men.

It is not illegal to wear a veil in your car under British or american law, it just shows your status as a slave. It is illegalunder islamic law to takeit off and a female could face punishment byt removing it accident or not. There the benovelent laws of britian and america allows it.

i believe the owner of the car is sent any speeding fines, and it is up to the owner to say who was driving, any way i have not seen any thing in the news ever were people were asked to do a line up and they had to wear veils.
