No, you're thinking of Tinkerbelle...

No. Man's belief or lack of it has nothing to do with the existence of God. I ooften laugh when I'm told to believe Jesus died for the sins of mankind. I mean what has my belief or unbelief got to do with anything? If the whole world were to believe Jesus is God, or God's son, would that crown him? Would their unbelief dethrone him?
In the same vein, mankind's belief or unbelief is inconsequential in bringing God into being. I have the courage and the candour, however, to declare that I know not! I guess that makes me an agnotist or something along that line. I do not believe you asked this question, therefore you didn't ask, uh?! Do you believe I answered your unasked question? ... It's all a mirage - an endless quest!

As someone else said not long ago.... yeah.... to your perceptions he does.

That is to say he exists subjectively... NOT objectively.
You have a god... Anyone else who really believes in a god has a god. Those of us who have no need of such things know full well that there is no god, and there most definitely is not for us.

When push comes to shove though, its all quite irrelevant. Provided you don't start trying to push like all the rest that god is objective, because thats just bloody stupid.

i think god exists regardless. i mean lots of people believe in him so why should one persons faith determine whether or not he or she exists?(we cant prove that gods a guy or a girl now can we)

If you are a believer, then why are you asking? The need for proof contradicts your faith. Belief does not equal truth, ask any white supremacist. Conversely, some things are true whether you believe in them or not.

Are you secure and content in your faith? Then God truly exists in your reality - and that might just be sufficient.
